Yes, I am that goofy arts 'n crafts mom
OK, so I am that mom that saves crazy things that we "might use later" for an "art project." We cut and glue and color a LOT. They aren't tv kids, or baby doll kids. We have artsy kids, plain and simple.
Arts and Crafts time is something my kids will do ANYTHING for. I can bribe them all morning, it's great.
Well, I was noticing, maybe my kids are a little "too" artsy fartsy. I mean, crayons and paper are by far their favorite toys, basically it's all they play with. The only other thing they do is "pretend" play. Like dressing up and building tents with bedsheets.
But.....I really only started to think they may be a little odd when I was checking out their attire while they worked on yesterday's project.....
Leave it to Karsyn to wear a leotard to the table...
and then there's my chronic cheerleader... and yes, we do have a monticello uniform, but it doesn't have a "twirly" skirt so it gets worn the least, haha!
Here's a work in progress of Jordan's.
Oh well, we have a good time with our crafty projects, and I'd rather my kids be doing this than zoned out in front of the tv, even if they are dressed like bag ladies!

And also, unrelated, Michael is officially no longer an employee of The Phone Company. After twelve years there, he is making a change. He will be working at Ryburn's as of Monday morning. He hasn't decided if he will get a new cell number or not, but if so, I will try to be sure he gets the new one to anyone that needs it.
