Like mother like daughter

Ok, here's my spill about my friend, Rosjuane... She and I met on a trip to see the "Crossett light." Yes, we were bored individuals. We spent quite a bit of time running around Warren after that, and had LOTS of interesting adventures.
That was in 1997. Two marriages and 4 kids later, we are still buddies. We even share the same anniversary, July 16, just on different years!

She was with me the night I met my husband.
She gave me the green light that he was "ok", thank goodness, of who knows where I'd be.

Her family is an awesome group of people, and her parents' home was a second home for me. I can't tell you how many nights I spent at their house, and still could, if the need was there.

Now our daughters are friends, and we can see ourselves in them all the time.

Here's a shot of Ashlyn, Ro's daughter, with Karsyn. Those two click very well.... I am sure they will follow in their mom's footsteps!
I am actually ok with saying that I don't have a lot of friends. I have a lot of aquaintances that I like to see and talk to, but I have a handful of TRUE friends that I honestly trust. I value each and every one of them more than I could ever express.
I am glad to say that Rosjuane is my friend, and has always been there for me, and I hope everyone has someone like her in their life, too.
