BLAH!

We had a great morning, celebrating our first Sunday in the new Journey building. The praise band did a wonderful job, jamming away for longer than usual, which was pretty cool in the exceptionally large sanctuary we now have.
We were blessed with several visitors, some of which were pastors from neighboring churches that came and prayed with us.
We renewed membership covenants, and had the Lord's Supper as well.
It was a great morning.
But.......
Now.............
Karsyn is asleep in my bed with 103 fever. For those that don't know, it is not uncommon for her to have fever well over 104. She has what her dr calls "history of high fever", including febrile seizures. She is supposed to be at an age that those seizures are really rare, and I really hope they are right because even though they aren't really a bad thing, they are SCARY!
They say her high fevers are a sign of a great immune system. There's been several times that she has developed a high fever, with no symptoms, and then never got sick. White blood cells at work, they say.
Jordan is getting over an ear infection, so it seems no one is going to let Mom rest!
I have a family shoot later on today, and it hope it goes better than the rest of this afternoon!

sorry about the rough afternoon! 3 of my 4 are currently on antibiotics, and you saw how blessing was this morning. but she's slept all afternoon, i hope she's feeling better when she gets up.

i thought this morning was great, too. just the morning of worship i needed! it was incredible to look out and see your hubbie with his hands raised to his lord. i love those glimpses of others worshipping.

Yea, what Brandy said.

Sorry that your little one is sick and hope she gets better SOON.

Can't tell you what an encouragement it is getting to know you and Mike better. You guys are awesome! So weird to think that just a few weeks ago, you were just a face on the net!

Hang in there! Looking forward to hearing how Mike's first week goes.

I hope that she begins to feel better. I can't imagine that. My kids (knock on wood) have never really been sick. We only went to the emergency room once with Ashton and a high fever. Other than that not many doctor's visit except routine checkups. I feel for you.
