Our Labor Day
For Labor Day, we took the kids 4 wheeler riding. Not that we don't do that all the time anyway, but today was a really good day. The weather is cooler than normal, and the rain we got yesterday got rid of a lot of the dust. Jordan decided she wanted to take pics all day. I let her take my little camera, and off we went. Most of the photos are ones she took.
We went over to Wilmar to my moms for some of my daddy's awesome grilled hamburgers. I got my mom to take this pic while we were there. I rarely get a pic of all of us. This kind of explains the need for 2 four wheelers, which many people thought was crazy of us to buy. We do pretty much everything together, so one just would not work. I don't have a husband that runs off to do his own thing on the weekends, so we have to have a hobby we can all take part in.
Jordan decided she would not ride through a creek with me, because she didn't like the incline. So I had to get off, and wade across part of it with her on my back, and give her to her daddy.
This is Hudgens Creek. Last weekend, we could not cross it. This weekend, we made it. Notice one tire off the ground.... Karsyn wasn't happy with that at all.
We always see lots of animals when we ride, and I think that is one huge reason my kids love it. We saw several deer, two snakes, rabbits, a few turkeys, and the best thing to my kids was..... A wild hog with two babies. They were so little and cute. No way to catch a pic of them, Jordan tried, but they were gone too fast.
I know it looks steep, but it really isn't too bad.

I was going to say to call me next time you go. I love that kind of stuff but we never can find the right kind of people to go with if you know what I mean. BUT then I looked at the pics and you guys scare the crap out of me. I'm with Jordan, I prefer to keep all the wheels on the ground.
It looks worse than it is, Tiff. And that's why I wear lacrosse boots, so I can walk the kids through anything I don't want them riding on!
