Jordan
my oldest child is too much of a realist to go along with the tooth fairy thing without being skeptical.
I think she knows it's total crap. She plays along, kind of, but not really.
She lost a tooth yesterday.
Her daddy put the money under her pillow at 3 am when I woke up and remembered we forgot to do that. He stumbled back to bed and said I couldn't find that tooth.
This morning, she says, "now I know it's you, momma, cause I DID NOT LEAVE MY TOOTH IN MY BED, and the deal is, no tooth, no cash."
what a statement.
This is why I KNOW it's my last year to be able to pull off Santa with her, which bothers me more than it should! I didn't get upset at all on her first day of kindergarten, but I really don't want to give up Santa!!

Oh no, how sad!! Jordan is such a smart kid...too smart for her own good! lol!
Mine is still gullible, for now,or at least he allows us to think that.We are horrible at the tooth fairy thing,we can NEVER find the tooth but we leave the money anyhow and we will tell him some story about how we talked to the tooth fairy and she said she would be back for that tooth!!Of course we find it and then put it up.And either he believes that or he just wants the dough. We arent real great at the Santa thing either...LOL.I never realized how good my parents were at this, but man I never found anything. My kids have found SOMETHING every year, never their SC stuff but they always find out about something before they should.
I know what ya mean, KT, I hide my Santa loot at Blake's till Christmas eve!
Yeah, I am going to have to quit the Santa thing soon, b/c I am HORRIBLE at being sneaky or hiding stuff. It really is a joke here, and I can't believe they haven't figured it out yet!
lol this is too funny...i remember the first year i didnt blieve and i didnt recieve....i still believe...lol....and santa keeps coming!!!
My kids still buy into Santa, tooth fairy, Easter Bunny, etc, but I am not sure for how much longer!
