GOOD NEWS

My dad got excellent news today.

He is getting a break from chemo. We don't know how long, but we are going to enjoy however long it may be. They will have to monitor his cancer, and see how fast it progresses in order to make a plan of action for him.

Either the chemo, or the prayers, have been more productive in shrinking it than anyone could've ever hoped. Since we are halting the chemo, I am asking that everyone continue to pray hard, as that will be his only medicine for a while. We don't want any backsliding!

Since my husband had cancer last year (age 48) our lives have changed. We realize time is short, healthy or not, and we live each day to the fullest.

It plays with my mind...but the best advice I have received from other Christians is God will carry me (and you too) through anything that comes our (your) way.

That gives me peace in any circumstance.

I can tell you are your "daddy's girl". I was too with my dad. We were so close. I lost him three years ago, but he lived a long life of 78 years!

God is blessing you with the time you have now with him...enjoy and savor every moment. I will pray that he remains stable to be able to continue to live and enjoy you and the girls.

God bless.
