are we looking at the next Britney?

What was she (or should I say what was her DAD) thinking?

Now I normally would be the last to criticize artistic pics, but when your show and your music is geared to 6-preteen, this is just wrong.

I sure hope not,but that was sneaky of the photographer in my opinion. It was like she thought,"Oh her parents are gone...lets see what kind of "ART" I can create."Yeah, right,I mean, wouldnt they just do it while the parents were there if it was just for art?

i was with you on this! i'm all about artistic photography as well, but she is 15! my little girl is 4 and is in love with her and i sure don't want her seeing this or the "other" photos of her that have surfaced in the last week. just look up miley cyrus underwear pics and you will see what i'm talking about. very disappointed in her. i know she is a kid and it is hard growing up in the spotlight, but geez!

Okay so I know that everyone has there own opinion and here is mine! 1st of all if stupid people would not show the kids these pics that are in VanityFair magazine then they would have never know they were out there! They are kids you tell me one preteen that reads VanityFair! JUST ONE! But too if parents would not give their children free run to the internet they would not be able to find obscene of stars. I feel like the media just blows things out of proportion.

that sentence was meant to say-
obscene photos of stars.

Well, my kids don't read VF, but, they do watch the news... so it won't be long and mine will see this. The media does take stuff and run with it, but that's the purpose of having a publicist to tell you what to do with your appearance. Besides the fact that she is simply too young for those type pics. I don't like the ones of her with her dad either.

As a "star" you have to be aware you are under a magnifying glass, and be careful. (and have morals)

I don't think them publisist do anything but tell you what to do to generate more attention. Whatever or however that may be. She is embarrassed now, but she wasn't embarressed when she was taking them? Think about how much PUBLICITY she has gotten over this. And we've all heard the saying bad publicity is just as "good" if not better than good publicity. I just wish that in her case (being so young) that she would stick to the "GOOD" publicity and let that be enough. I mean you have sold out concerts, movies, millions of records sold, clothing line, and a fan base of all ages what more can you want!!!

And was she embarassed about the fact that she has little clothing on, or that she looks like a crack-head just getting out of the sona?? I think it was more the fact that it wasn't a appealing shot. There isn't anything artistic about it. They put it in there b/c it wasn't teen generated!!!
