No more helmet
Rosjuane and her sister, Simone, took Garret to ACH for his monthly head measurement check up. The dr has conceded that it is not going to work, so no more helmet for Garret.
Now, she has to begin looking into having the highly invasive surgery, that will involve removing a piece of skull.
For those that don't know, he has craniosynosis. (Premature closing of his right front skull suture)
It is actually a pretty common thing, and she has met several mom's online through various support groups and etc that have been through the surgery and recovery. Although it is a very scary surgery that any mother would hate to have to put their baby through, most all the kids we looked up online had great recoveries with wonderful results.
Please pray for Rosjuane and Brad as they go through the process of meeting surgeons and discussing the best way to treat this.

she is looking into getting a second opinion from another surgeon, to be certain they have weighed all their options.
it's quite the ordeal :(
