wow. I learned to drive the lawnmower. the times they are 'a changin!

Ok, so that sounds dense, huh?

Well, I used to mow all the time when we had a craftsman normal lawn mower. Normal = steering wheel.
A few years ago, we got a grasshopper.
That thing has no steering wheel.
You can mow at the speed of light, with these handle thingys.
Zero turn radius, blah blah blah, major man toy.

sorry, I don't have a pic of ME on the thing....

Anyway, after some coaching from Mike, he turned me loose in the field. wow. What an accomplishment :)
Since he's working a lot, I don't want him to have to deal with, and this way, I can keep my tan :)
And now that it's pouring down rain, I am glad I got it knocked out today. The rain's a good change from the 90 something weather we've had, but I hope it isn't like this tomorrow. I am supposed to go back to Slingerland's to get Karsyn's new bed.
Bedtime at the Smith household, more tomorrow.
Am I the only one that misses KT already??? :(

I miss her too. As soon as I read her post that they were leaving for vacation, I was sad to not hear from her on the blogs this week! I know she is having a great time!

Yes, I was hoping for a picture of you on the mower.

You go girl! So far I have refused to learn how to use any mower because then I would have to do it all the time... plus Andy really does like it. Getting a tan, though, is a plus!

So you reminded me of this story of me-who does not drive-on our riding lawnmower after we first got it.It is used and needed some work but I just had to try it out.I get on it....with no brakes, but the whole shift to neutral deal.....guess what I did,I slammed it into our car-and then a tree....LOL,needless to say,I dont mow anymore.LOL
