What a great morning!
My morning started early today at the church. I went at 8:30 to help the other ladies prepare a breakfast meal for the men (father's) today.
I wish I was as talented as Diana, who has the capability of cooking a massive amount of food without messing up anything. (Think HUGE vat of sausage and gravy! NO LUMPS, woohoo!)
It seriously was a great meal that we had a blast working on. I don't think I did too much that was productive, other than fix plates for the kids when they came through to prepare their dad's trays and serve them, but I had a good time anyway!
Only one small spill from Kate, one even smaller egg spill by me and Misty, and the whole thing came off without a hitch.
All the kids were great, other than my own child, of course. Karsyn was a pill, mad because J kids don't have a completed classroom area. After Michael took her out of "big church" 4 times he finally gave up and left her in the nursery with the babies/little ones. He told me after preaching that "blessing" was clingy with him when he tried to leave, and wanted him to hold her. I love that about him, that he is such a toddler magnet. I also love that "blessing" is getting so comfortable with us that she goes to anyone now. It's been quite the transition for her, and her family is doing great!
We also signed the papers agreeing that we feel like Ryan will make an excellent church elder. There's no question there. We have learned so much from him already, I have no doubt that he will excel with this position. I think Ryan is Ryan's only skeptic! He is a great leader (and example) and we are excited for him!
We are also finalizing plans for Family Camp. My kids cannot wait for this, and I can't either. It's going to be at Beech Springs, in El Dorado. It's bike friendly :) What could be better!

Cool!We didnt know what time to be there today. We did breakfast in bed for Dad today too.
i'm sorry about the j-kids thing. i hope that by the next time we come back to church(2 weeks), it will be ready. i know karsyn bothered ya'll, but honestly, I never noticed her. (and i was right in front of you!) did you notice how many times mason got out of his chair????? needed a pen, wanted water, wanted me to read what he wrote, wanted to go "help" in the nursery... just remember, journey is kid-friendly and we all go through the kids getting up and down and talking and not wanting to be still. it's just hard when it's your own!
