My day
Today we "tried out" Journey Church and were welcomed with open arms. It's a very homey place where everyone seems like family. We enjoyed our time there.
After that, I went and did a shoot for family pics, and also some sr photos.
It was a wild afternoon, but at least it was pretty day.

Shelley we were glad to have you! We love Journey because of the atmosphere and the people. They are a group that really know how to show that "they care" for others. Hope to see you again soon.
so glad you came to Journey. i wish i'd made more time to chat and get to know you. cute girls...journey is an indescribeable family for me and mike. can't wait to get to know you guys and your story better so i hope we get to see you again soon.

Shelly it was so good to have you and your family visit. I wanted to tell you guys about our Small Groups. That is truly where you get to know people and know God. Normally we meet in members homes on Wednesdays for where we fellowship and bible study. Starting Wednesday we are going to be doing what is called D-group. It will be happening at the Journey worship center on Wednesdays at 6pm. We will come and fellowship as a family for about 20-30 min. Have an interactive bible study for 20-30 min. then break into family groups for the last 20-30 min. The last family group time is with your husband and children, that time will be spent talking about the teaching and trying to apply the lesson to the following week. We're looking forward to the D-group this term. Hope this isn't information overload. We'd love to see you guys there.
