A day in the life of us

I was very glad to walk out from work today to find out that it was gorgeous outside. I got to leave before 5:00, and after I quickly went with Ashley to check out the house on Main Street I will be taking prom pics at, I came home and let the kiddos play outside for a while.
That, of course, means I let my boys out to run wild as well. Although it regularly shocks people to find it out, my english mastiff resides in a very peaceful setting wtih a 16 lb cocker spaniel. They are not mean to each other, and do not fight, although if I had to pick a dominant one, I would say it's Max, the "baby dog."
I like to pick Max up and taunt Rufus with him, as you can see from the pics. It's all in fun, and they love it. I am always covered in dog slobber when it's said and done, and we are all worn out.
I hope we continue to have this gorgeous weather to play in!
I am looking forward to the weekend, as usual. I have some prom pics to shoot of Charlie, and then no other set plans for the weekend, other than returning to Journey Church on Sunday. Michael and I really enjoyed it, and plan to "go back for more!" We had intentions of making it there on Wednesday, but his work schedule didn't allow.
We have encountered some good luck lately, and we both attribute it to our efforts to start to "live right" to the best of our abilities. Isn't it great to be "paid back" for your faith, in a way? I think it's so true that God helps those that help themselves.
