It's about that time.

And I am doing my research again.

My decade mark will be here on July 16, 2009.

dean, July 5, 2009 at 9:53:00 PM CDT: generally speaking, i like the idea of covenant marriage... well, a BIBLICALLY covenant marriage i like unconditionally, but i'm talking about the terms of the arkansas covenant marriage that i like "generally speaking."

i believe their acceptable terms for divorce are too broad. i don't believe that the commission of a felony by the other spouse would necessarily be grounds for divorce. and the whole thing of being separated for 2 years is weak to say the least.

while the bible only seems to present adultery as the only legit grounds, i'd think there's a pretty strong case for spousal or child abuse that can be made.

but the state sanctioned covenant marriages are better than what's been going on.
