prayer. it works.

God declares emphatically in His word, "…I am the LORD, who heals you" in Exodus 15:26.

In Exodus 23:25 the Lord continues to declare that He will not only give us food & water but He will also take away sickness from us. That's enough for me. It says it there in black and white.

The U.S. Office of Technology Assessment looked at studies reported in the Journal of Family Practice over a 10-year time period. The review found that 83% of the studies done on spirituality & praying found a positive effect on physical health. Another study looked at 12 years of reports in 2 major psychiatric journals. Of the studies that measured praying, 92% showed mental health benefits, 4% showed neither a positive nor negative effect, and 4% showed harm. Spirituality was measured by participation in religious ceremony, prayer support, prayer groups, and belief in God. Hmmm. that says it in black and white, too.

Mr. Gene Andrews is taking eshap chemo. This is necessary because the last form didn't help the tumors. The dr's are running out of options. This is the time that all of us, as Christians, of ANY denomination can help. We can pray. We can pray hard. We can lift him up... PLEASE help. I am asking that my friends, from California to Canada PLEASE pray for him at 4:00 this week. I think we can be part of an amazing uplifting together. It costs nothing but time, and can be worth something not defined by money. Won't you help?

Hi Shelley, I will pray for Mr. Andrews at 4 pm and in my morning prayer times, too. May the LORD touch Him with His healing hand.
