New Year's Eve
Our small town has experienced enough tragedy related to drinking, and I hope people will realize enough is ENOUGH, and be responsible. If you aren't, I hope they HAUL YOU TO JAIL. As the wife to someone that formerly installed interlock devices, I can tell you, you CANNOT stereotype who may be driving drunk right beside you. Drunk drivers are all ages, all races, and from all walks of life. Michael had all kinds of people that called him to come install those for them. Young, old, rich, poor, ALL KINDS of people. They are expensive. Monitoring is expensive. They are embarassing. They are overly sensitive... you can't even use mouthwash with them. It is a PAIN. There's no way I would ever want to have to use one of those things.
Please be safe. I don't want to read about any more of my friends being killed, or permanently disabled for no reason. Monticello has seen enough of that.
On a lighter note......what're YOU doing to bring in the new year?

ill be at the church with youth doing a lockin all night!!! im really looking forward to this!!!
I have absolutely refused to ride with someone before, someone no one would ever have thought or think would drink, and she was offended but we are both alive and well.
I am REALLY against drinking and driving-
whatever i'm doing hopefully won't involve a vehicle and a tree. the palm trees in that pic tell me it wasn't monticello, but unfortunately that is a scene that will repeat it self in various locales tonight.
be careful out there!
We'll be right here at home no doubt!
We will be home tooo!! Hope everyone else is safe!!
I hope to not see this, but in all reality it will happen. I pray that all will be responsible.
We are heading to the Moss' for a New Year's Party. At least we are at the state troopers house.
