Just for Drea

She wanted me to blog this, so here it is......
oct 071
**gasp!** YES, it is my tree. It's actually up already. It's not uncommon for me to put mine up this 'early' because I like how it makes my house look. I also have a nativity scene up 365 days a year that my friend Michelle gave me :)

I don't see a reason to conform to what everyone else does, as far as waiting until Thanksgiving. (and for those that thinks this makes me 'overlook Thanksgiving'....I hope I am being thankful that Obama is NOT my president this turkey day. Blech! I don't agree with liberalist views and I never will.)

GO WATCH THIS VIDEO. And then tell me how you can support Obama... Actually, nevermind, don't tell me. Because you just can't justify it to me, no matter what, and I really don't want to hear it. (And if you don't like hearing me push for McCain, go read some liberal blog instead of mine) I won't be shutting up about it until it's all said and done.

Gorgeous tree!!!

I had mine up before Thanksgiving last yr too. To me, it is a lot of work, and might as well enjoy it as long as possible. ;)

Go McCain/Palin!

is your tree prelit or do you put them on yourself? we have GOT to get a new tree this year and I can't decide whether to get prelit one or not.

i don't think we even know where our Christmas stuff is in this cottage yet! we had an awesome prelit tree in monticello and hated to have to leave it behind. we'll get to work on this soon enough! something thats a tradition at the Home here in monroe is to make a giant "Christmas card" out of a 4x8 sheet of plywood to put in the front yard, so that's something else to get creative with here pretty quickly.

great video, btw!

yep, it's prelit. My last one was too, and the "middle" died and I had to wrap lights around that part and it was a pain! But I still went with another prelit one :)

It's a Martha Stewart one, I love it.
