Parents.

From Casey Anthony to this. If those people's parental rights are not immediately severed, our system is seriously flawed.

It is sad that the only time a child's welfare becomes of importance is after something terrible and uncalled for happens to them. What happens to the child is immediate but what happens to the person who did it usually takes a while.

so pathetic on so many levels....

I don't get it, and I never will.

With all the loving people out there that cannot have children, Lord knows there is someone that would've given anything to have that precious baby.

That literally makes me sick to the pit of my stomach...what is going on with people now-a-days...

Thank you for sharing this information with us...

I don't understand it.
I agree with you Shelley, there are lots of people who would (want to) love and care for that baby.

My kid's investigator told me that they brought over 40 kids into state care JUST LAST MONTH in Pulaski County. That is one county. He said normally the summer is slower, but not this year. The courts are terminating a lot of parental rights each month too.

What is so sad, is so many of the parents that are hurting these kids, were hurt themselves, often times in "the system" as well. They never have anyone teach them coping skills or how to be a parent. I AM NOT saying that is an excuse for what these parents did...I am just saying it is such a sad cycle.
