YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jordan came home today with a wonderful statement.
"Momma, I changed my mind, I do wanna play softball."
WOOOOO HOOOO!! As a person that played league, high school, and tournament ball from 7-18+ years old, I am so happy! She has always liked to play at home in the yard, but is intimidated at the idea of being on a real field. I am going to have to try hard to not push her too much. I was (and am) an EXTREMELY competitive person, and I don't want to make her hate it. I have many great memories from playing throughout my childhood, and I can't wait to go through it with her.
Who else remembers Coach John Smith, My now brother in law Coach Lawrence Smith, my ALL TIME favorite Coach David York??? And of course Gary Hillis, Brandi Ferrel's dad, Coach Lucy Williams, Denise Perry, Elaine Donham, ...... the list could go on forever. The best umps ever, Billy Joe Wilson, and Mr. Tucker himself! I am ready to get back out there! I miss the days of traveling to El Dorado for district, and on to Harrison for state. Now I would have perfection if my baby takes over third base like her Momma :)

Yah Jordan!! I think that you should give it a couple of games then tell your husband you are going to need a new lens for that sports photography. 70-200!! That's my next one. You take the camera and focus on taking the pictures and let her play. Karsyn will want to do it next. Let me know when her game is and I will drag out the cheerleading uniform and you can borrow it. AGAIN!! LOL!!
Thats awesome, might see you there...Kyla decided she wants to play as well!
Have a great season, Jordan, Mom & Dad. Sounds like fun for the whole family!
