the carnival story

ok, here's the REAL story. Dana and Blake and I befriended the operator of Pharoah's Fury. Due to this......we got to ride for free. A LOT. Due to THAT, we ALL were about to throw our guts up at 8:30 last night, trying to recover. It was fun while it lasted, but we are TOOOO old for this now!

The kids liked racing on the giant slide a lot. I went with them a couple of times on this one. My wonderful husband was the baby holder for the night, taking care of Jagger, and the camera, while we rode stuff. I also got to see three of my nephews while we were here. I rode the Scrambler with my kids, and my nephew Stratton. (This wasn't the first time I was on that for the night, and that was a mistake, too)

Jagger didn't get to ride on much, because he is so little, but we tried to let him take part in some stuff. I rode the haunted house ride with him. When he was supposed to be scared, he laughed a mischievious "huh huh."

Dana was on her own with Jagger since Ben had to work. Thank goodness he loves his uncle Mike, because he got HEAVY fast. I am glad I have a great husband that loves kids so much. He never batted an eye when we gave him Jagger to hold so we could run off with the big kids and play.

Karsyn mastered the bumper cars really quickly. I think that was her favorite thing.

And last, but not least, my photo for Michael Burns..... Inside joke, lol.

Wow! It looks like you were ALL having a wild and wonderful time. Seems like I enjoyed those rides until I was about 38. I used to go to Marriott's Great America, Disneyland, and carnivals with my daughter and her friends. Good times...great memories! Today she, her husband, in-laws, and other friends walked in the MS Walk in Portland, OR. She raised over $1400 in support for MS.
