Yesterday, I took the girls to the Little Rock Zoo. I called and invited Dana, so she and Ben and Jagger came along too. It was a gorgeous day. I decided to leave the "good" camera at home, along with all the good lenses, and loaded up the "mom" camera (the rebel) and the not so great kit lens and decided I would not spend 95% of the day trying to get perfect pics, I would just shoot some here and there, and whatever I got, would just have to do! Being that it was soooo bright in some places, and patchy shade in others, I am glad I didn't waste my time lugging the good stuff, and having to worry about taking care of it!
Karsyn was determined to make us take the train ride. All together, it was 12 bucks. It lasted 4 minutes........ woo hoo.... But she was happy, so oh well.
Not sure why Ben wanted this picture, cause that thing is UGLY, but we made them sit there and stare into the sun anyway.
This is the "baby" at the zoo. He (or she??) is 1.5 years old. It was enjoying some tomatoes!
The girls got to feed the birds in this big bird room area we were in. They liked it a lot.....till some man beside us got pooped on, and then they were ready to get outta there!!

Oh I love going to the zoo,looks like you all had a great time too!!That bird room had me a little leary too...LOL!!
