Finally. A decision has been made.

After very long talks, and lots and lots of internet searches, we decided on getting a new vehicle instead of used. The main reasons being:
We could find nothing that was used that had not been either smoked in, wrecked, driven a zillion miles, or needed body work and etc on an excessive level.
We then decided, although I HATE cars, that due to increasing gas prices, a car was the way to go. Well........ too bad my husband is 6'3" and does not "fit" in any car that isn't a big ol' mamaw car. His head literally touches the ceiling in most, and if he slides the seat back to where he is not touching the dash with his knees, then my kids had zero leg room.

So, we decide to look into used expeditions. We quickly find out, that employee pricing and dealer cash made the price of a new one way too close to the price of a used one to get a used one, so, we finally, after a long, agonizing month, made our choice. Although I was very against getting yet another new ride, I am happy with this one, and think we made a safe and fitting choice for my family. I often have extra kids with me, and really didn't want to give up my third row again either, and although high gas prices really make me mad, I also don't drive enough for it to make it dictate my choice of car, either.



So, we are now the owners of a black, 2008 Eddie Bauer Expedition. We didn't go with the ones with the DVD system, because they drive me nuts. Our last expedition had it, and it wasn't a feature that I enjoyed. We have a portable one that will work just fine, and didn't cost us 1300 bucks! We also don't have the back up camera in the rear view mirror. Most of the other available options are on it, and I am happy with what we got. So if you see me in my big ol' black tank, WAVE!
