My books
When I was asked today to borrow a book I know that I have, it has occurred to me that I have no clue who I have loaned some of my books out to. If you have any of mine that you are done with, please let me know. I am not too good on keeping book inventory....
As you can see, I am a huge Grisham fan. Although all his books aren't located on my shelves at the moment, I do own them all, other than "Playing for Pizza" which I am sure I will aquire soon. I REALLY want to get his autograph on "A Time To Kill," which is my favorite work of his. Problem with that is, I haven't found anywhere to buy it from that I am certain is legit.
I have a strange array of authors that I like, most of which I got into by buying soooo many books at yard sales. I figure, hey, it's a dime, why not?

Hi Shelley! I'm still enjoying your site and love the pictures! I love books also. I've loaned so many out and so few come back home. One time I went to my friend's yard sale. All her books are paperback and all of mine are hardback. I arrived at the end of the sale and found three of my hardback books in the box for Big Brothers. I took them home with me!! We are still friends, she's just on my no-no list for loans. :)
Same here! I can't tell you how many of my books have "walked off" over the years. Some of them, I hope that they are used to minister to someone on down the road. Other times, it gripes me that a GREAT book is just sitting in someone's house, gathering dust because they didn't want to or never found the time to read it...
BTW... I have your Grisham, Innocent Man book... ;)
You have got to try www.librarything.com
You can catalog up to 100 books for free!
It is a great way to keep track of books.
Blessings,
Theresa
