Just how many churches....
Can say they have a room like this? Not many, I would presume. Welcome to Journey's CBR. (Cool Back Room) If you are wondering what in the world we do with this room, the real question should be, what do we NOT do with this room. There's kid toys in here. There's dartboards. There's even a restaurant booth. Is it just for "church functions?" Are you thinking Fifth Sunday Fellowship? Nope. That isn't it either. The schedule for Journey is often, there is no schedule. We don't have 5th Sunday potlucks. But does that mean one will never occur? Nah. We might. But it probably won't be on a calendar like that.
We had our Tuesday Night women's group back here through part of the summer. When we finished our study on "The New Eve" we decided to continue meeting in the CBR.
For.........SpeedScrabble.
And if you don't know how to play, don't invite Tanya or Rene or you will never win.
I was also lucky enough to have Karsyn's churchwide birthday party here.
That concrete floor came in very handy for a bunch of wet kids.
Did I have to present that to a business meeting before I did it? Nope.
The cool thing about the Journey building is, It's mine.
Ok, not just mine.
Mine and a few other peoples......
Of more than a few.
But I do have a key.
So what's cooler than that?

It probably should be said before someone has a cow that all signs are "legal." We got them from the sign department... well, all of them but the stop sign. A college student gave us one of those a few years back... We didn't want to know.
Jeff you know you and Caro rode around after dark on the ghost and jacked those....
I love this room as well-it is so unconventional and I love unconventional anything! At least you use your room-the ones that have just the 5th Sunday potluck-I dont understand that....I mean a room to itself for 1 event ever so often?Reminds me of the living rooms people dont use....LOL,but I love the quirkiness of that.
