The wise man built his house upon the rock
I can take NO credit for this great project, as I have not driven the first nail, but I want to help promote what others within the church are doing.
After a full day of working on Wednesday, the house that Journey members are building for someone in need north of town is rapidly taking shape. The roof, walls and floor are finished, putting the building in the dry. As the project heads toward completion, here are some practical items that are needed to make the new house more of a home:
Twin sheets
Kitchen trash can
Trash bags (kitchen)
Large outside trash can
Curtains and rods (two windows)
Bath towels and hand towels
Wash cloths
Kitchen towels/dish cloths
Hot pad/pot holders
Broom, dust pan, mop, mop bucket
Cleaning supplies
Air refreshener
Shower soap/hand soap
Towel rack
Toilet paper holder
Clothes detergent
Clothes pins
Toothpaste, toothbrush
Deodorant/anti-perspirant
Disposable razors
Shaving cream
Hairbrush
Clock
Twin bed (mattress & springs)
Lawn chair
Wall mirror
Pots and pans
If you can provide any of these, please leave a comment and let us know what you intend to provide. Journey loves community projects :)

Oh, that is so cool! I would love to help out. I think it would be easiest for me to just send you some money and let you buy it since I am so far away.
