my day

Ok, so I will be upfront and say, this isn't going to be too interesting.
I took the kids with me to the Journey building this morning to clean. It took me 2.5 hours and it still wasn't "perfect." I just totally lost motivation, partially cause I wanted someone to talk to, haha!
(Hard to talk while dragging a 1942 vacuum around)
We left at about 11:30 and headed to Rye to pick up Kacy, Kaly Anna, and Jake. We went to Warren to the Sandwich Shop (where I got to visit with Leigh Bodiford for the first time since her wedding), and then guess where... to swim, of course, like we do all the time.
My days are rather redundant, huh?
I am trying to relax as much as possible because I have a big wedding coming up that I am doing on Saturday. I am always soooo stressed out the night before, I can't even sleep. I always want to do my best work, and the thought of not doing a good job on someone's WEDDING DAY makes my stomach turn!
I got a couple pictures in today that I had ordered to enter in the Drew County Fair. I know they say stuff has to be framed, but I got these on matboard and I hope they will accept that, cause I sure can't afford to get stuff framed, especially of people that I won't be putting on my walls! I have never entered anything, so we'll see how it goes.
I'd love to get something in the state fair, but I don't even know what you have to do to qualify for that. Something to look into....
Enough ramblin' for now, off to bed on a positive note, Maury Draper is taking part on my team, woo hoo!

Hey girl,my days are redundant too-I might be able to throw a few suggestions your way every once in awhile for topic discussions....if you are interested....

I have entered a few pics in the County fair and I believe Mattboard will work....Its really fun,it feels like you won the lottery when you get a blue ribbon!!!!LOL

I remember in high school art, if it had a mat around it, the fair accepted it. Don't know about photographs. I think it is the best of show that gets to go to state. I know you do get a small amount of money for every ribbon you win.

My mom and I both won best of show one year for our artwork...it was cool to win at the same time. I think I won $25 for that.

Girl...I am always in a bad mood leading up to a photography shoot...especially a wedding. Clay will often say after a long grouchy day..."you are thinking about that wedding, or whatever I have to do..." and he is usually right! I am glad I am not the only one that does that!

Uh Yeah! Right there with you. I'm getting nervous about this wedding this weekend too. So call me tommorow and we will whine and worry with each other. Then you can write all about it on your blog!
