Pool Fun
Today we headed to Rye to Kacy McClain's house to swim. Actually, I should say to her mom, Carmen's house, since she is the one with the pool! Jordan and Karsyn had a great time with Jake (6) and Kaly (22 months) splashing around and swimming.
Jordan took her first elective jump from a diving board today. (The only other time I shoved her off it at Miss Sherry Carson's house....)
We stayed a couple hours and the sky got all dark and grey so we left.
I am sure it was the first of many trips to Miss Carmen's pool.
We are going with Kacy and Jake on Wednesday to Moro Bay to meet with one of Kacy's friend's that is a Park Interpreter with the Arkansas Game and Fish.
He will be taking us out on the party barge, and we will be putting out nets and learning about the various fish, trees, bugs, and etc.
Then we will dock at the sandbar for some swim time, and will even get to pet his "pet" alligator.
I am sure it will be a fun day, and I will be sure to take my camera. I am looking into getting a cheap pocket size camera for stuff like this, but so far, no luck. I may get one tomorrow, so I will have it for family camp, too. Hauling my big one around is a pain, and I am afraid it is going to get messed up.
I have decided to go back to working one day per week for Cary. I will be going back tomorrow. I wish I wasn't going to have to be there on the play group day, but that's the day the logger's expect their paychecks, so I can't change it.
So, either way, I have a full week ahead, working tomorrow, Moro Bay Wednesday, pack for Family Camp on Thursday, and head to Eldorado for Friday-Saturday-Sunday!
I can't wait!

We will miss you at playgroup!!!! I hate that you can't be there anymore!
Oh, just take that big 'ole camera! You will probably be glad you did! ;) You could take the XT w/ kit lens.... then if something happens it won't be the *total* end of the world... just a thought!
Yes, you should get you a pocket size camera. I have a Fuji Fine pix camera...that is almost the only pics I ever put on my blog. I would probably only have 1/10 of those pics if I didn't have the little camera. We keep our big cameras in the safe, and I never want to lug them out....and Clay is so over protective of them he doesn't really like to take them when we aren't working. I love my little camera...and it also will record 5 mins of video....I have so much fun playing with it!
Maybe working won't be too bad once school starts back up. Just enjoy having that little extra.
oooooooooh that sounds cool!!I would love something like that....I dont even know what time playgroup is to show up...LOL
