OK, I am the bragging parent
We went to the park today for a playgroup with some other mom's from church. We had a good time, and all the kids got along really well. Of course Jadyn and Kate were little escape artists for a moment, but that was short lived!
Before we went to the park, we ran by the school to get Jordan's report card. She made all A's, and had a final composite score of 100 in reading! Her other yearly averages were a 96 in Math, a 99 in spelling, and a 94 in writing. And to think dr's told us she was mentally handicapped! Thank God for answered prayers.
Standardized tests were always "my thing" and it was really easy for me to excel on those. Apparently Jordan got that gene.
She is in the 96th-99th percentile in the national average on basically every subject. This kid blows my mind. I love that she loves school, loves reading, and loves to learn!
We are going to Wilhelm, Dot, and Waldo Laesecke's on Thursday to play. For those that don't know them, they are south African and I can listen to them talk all day and never get bored. Waldo is homeschooled, and Dot teaches my kids something about nature every time we are there, without them even realizing she is "schooling" them.
We have a fun filled week ahead of us!

Congrats to Jordyn. Sometimes doctors need to have a little faith. Since there was something wrong with my sister, I was suppose to be mentally handicapped and she was told to abort me.
God does work miracles.
we LOVE ms. dot! she's the best ever!
and way to go, jordan!
