My weekend Plan
Well, I figure it will be pretty boring. I rented "shooter" Tuesday night, and we watched it then, and I rented "because I said so" yesterday and watched it this morning. Those are the only two movies I have been "waiting" to see, so I don't have much on the agenda.
We will be babysitting Jagger this weekend while his mom and dad go to Hot Springs to celebrate their anniversary.
This is how big he was when he started spending the night with me :)
He was only a couple weeks old when we had our first "bunking party" and gave mom and dad a break.
Now....
He's seven months old! The time has flown by.
We will be splitting up the weekend with his Mamaw Wilma, so he'll be going back and forth between us. I am not sure if any of Jagger's cousins will be there or not, but I know he's been pretty happy to hang out with his cousin Jessi lately, so maybe she can assist Miss Wilma in keeping up with the roly poly.
Dana informed me this morning that Ben is really looking forward to riding the ducks in Hot Springs. What an anniversary, huh, haha!
Michael will be working Saturday. He was off last weekend for Family Camp. I think he has some stump grinding to do in the afternoon. So like I said....boring stay at home weekend. Sometimes those are nice though, I admit.
I can't wait till OUR anniversary trip on the 13th. I am ready to take a kid-free vacation. We have only left the kids ONE night for a trip like this in our entire marriage. This time, we will be gone for two. I AM EXCITED!
We never liked leaving them when they were little, and being that they were little at the same time.....you see what I mean.
Jordan was 8 months old before I left her at my mom's for a couple hours. She was 18 months old before I let her spend the night, and that's only because I was in the hospital! Neither one of us was real great at leaving our babies anywhere, but he was even worse than me! We used to haul them all over the state to softball tournaments because he didn't want to leave them for a WHOLE WEEKEND! GASP!
Even though we were that way, neither one of my kids were ever clingy, or had "stranger anxiety." Jordan would go to anyone. Karsyn wouldn't, but she wouldn't freak out, really. She was just more picky.
Just one of the MANY differences in those two.....
So we will be around the house, unless we go swim at Kacy's........
