my love of music

I have an intense love of music that I inherited from my father. I have no favorite song. I have no favorite singer.
I think most people that have those favorites "favor" only one type of music, and that isn't me.
I love basically ALL music, from rap to country, old to new, Rod Stewart to Nelly.
You will rarely get in my vehicle and find the radio off. Actually, in all honesty, it is usually blaring.
Below are some clips of my favorite songs, but certainly not all of them, because it's hard to find footage of a lot of the singers that I like.
I am NOT a follower when it comes to my musical preferences. I don't care if anyone else likes it, I like it.
To be such a lover a music, I am NOT musically inclined. Yes, I was in band, but I was snare drummer. I never learned to play anything else, and can't even play the drum anymore!
I also don't sing.
It isn't my thing.
Even if I am in the car alone.
It isn't going to happen.
I don't like a lot of songs that are popular. I have decided it's because I don't relate to them.
I don't usually conform, incase you haven't noticed....

Paul Simon (great special on him last night, this man has been rocking for YEARS)

Traveling Wilburys (I suggest you google. They re-released their cd on Father's Day, I got it for my dad)

Marshall Tucker Band

The Possum himself, George Jones

Aaron Neville, with Linda Ronstadt (I also love Ivan Neville, and Neville Brothers)

Sweet baby James, James Taylor

Johnny Cash, need I say more?

Keith Whitley. Could've done so much more...

Van Morrison. Brown Eyed Girl has been one of my favorites since the "Born on the fourth of July" Soundtrack

Uncle Kracker, one of my top three favs

Dire Straits

Def Leppard, I would have to say they are the best with ballads of any 80s band

U2

Alan Jackson

Dierks Bentley

Beyonce (one of the only female singers that I like)

Usher

Aerosmith

and last, Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, and Sting.... doesn't get any better than that.
(The same song writer that often wrote for Adams wrote for Def Leppard a lot, too) I am a sucker for a good ballad.
I also love the sounds of Jeff Healey, George Strait, and many others, but just could not find clips I like.
