The Anniversary Party
Saturday we celebrated my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding annniversary. There were over 150 there, & although it was elbow to elbow in the fellowship hall, it was a great success. Due to a flight delay, their son in law and two grandkids were quite late, and that was no fun, but they made it to the end of things and then enjoyed supper together in Monticello where they also celebrated two graduations; Kyle's from high school and Graham's from college. All in all, I think it was a super blessed day for them and I couldn't be happier for them both.
Here are a few photos from througout the day.
Beautiful day, not nearly as hot as some of the recent days have been.
Their original cake topper was used, and magnolia accents were used just like in their wedding ceremony.
Cake cutting, and yep, he did act like he was going to lick the knife :)
All because two people fell in love...
If this doesn't make you smile, nothing will. CONGRATS once again, I love you both very much!
