Jackson is ONE!

We went to Jack Jack's first birthday party today. As usual, Ben cooked up a feast, and there was a lot of family there; aunts and uncles, cousins, and all 4 of his grandparents. Jackson acted really well, and Jagger didn't take over too much...just some! I think Jagger is starting to notice that Jack is catching up with him. Dana made her very first batch of cupcakes. Ever. Yes, that's right. She has never before baked a cake in any form. The kids gobbled them up, so I guess they were ok!

Here he is, a few hours old. Poor little guy had a very hard time being born. As you can see from his bruise on his forehead, he was sunny side up, and was stuck under mom's pelvic bone. He eventually arrived via c-section after a long and painful labor for her. While this was going on, Jagger was spending the night with me, which he used to do a lot. We took him to Laynes, and he was so high strung even the waiter took him and walked him around for a while. I guess even at 13 months old, he knew something was up!




For those that say the boys look alike, I wanted to add this. The top is Jagger, the bottom is Jack, on their first birthdays. I think they look very similar at that age, but I don't think they look alike now, if that makes sense? My kids looked a lot alike at about 18-24 months, but never at the same time to me.
